It runs from 9.30am till 11.00am in St Oswald's Parish Church on Tuesdays in term time (apart from half-term holidays).
There is no charge for this group but we do ask for a voluntary donation towards our costs. This covers drinks and snacks for the children and a cup of coffee/tea for their parents/carers.
Please do come along to church one Tuesday and bring your friends!
For more details, please contact Bev Nixon 01625 500970 or Revd Veronica Hydon 01625 422849.
Please note that the school car-park next to the church is not available to us during term-time, as it is provided solely for the use of the school staff.
Usually at 10.30 am on the first and third Sundays of the month (simple informal service 1st Sunday - Family Communion 3rd Sunday). The pattern may vary at important Church Festivals, but this website will give full details.
But, of course, children are welcome at all our services. The Children's Corner contains toys, books and activity sheets to help them learn about bible stories and what it means to be a Christian in today's world.
The banner is made from the hand-shapes of children from the schools. It bears St Oswald's injunction to
"Be strong and of good courage"
The Parish Church, its building, activities and clergy are entirely funded by voluntary contributions.
We do NOT receive any financial support from the Government, the Diocese, or the Church Commissioners.
Please visit our Donations page to see how you could help to keep us operating both as a centre of worship and as a resource for the local community
