Cheshire East are considering the closure of a number of Recycling centres including the one at Bollington on Albert Road.
If you would like to express your opinion please fill in the survey at Household Waste Recycling Centre Review (cheshireeast.gov.uk).
There seems to be no logic at all in Cheshire East considering to close this essential service. Bollington has a population of 8000 people plus the neighbouring communities of Pressburg, Kerridge and Tytherington . With that kind of population and all rate payers, where on earth would people take their waste and recycling if it was closed. All it would do is encourage fly tipping and a reduction in people recycling things like cardboard and green waste.
